About SketchUp
SketchUp is a user-friendly 3D modeling program used to create, visualize, and edit designs for architecture, interior design, engineering, and other creative projects.
At its core, SketchUp allows you to create precise 3D models quickly using intuitive “push-pull” geometry, making it especially popular for architects, interior designers, and product designers. You can build everything from simple room layouts to complex buildings, landscapes, and furniture with accurate measurements.
It also supports detailed texturing and materials
Each level of training takes two (2) days.

Course Outlines
SketchUp Introduction - 2 days
Learn how to create and modify drawings in the comfort of your own work place on site. Create major elements that make up all drawings. Use keyboard shortcuts and commands to speed up drawing production. Create repetitive symbols that can be used in any drawing. Use precision to create perfectly accurate drawings. Learn how to see exactly the areas of the drawings you need. Learn the skills needed to separate elements to be viewed. Measure and show element sizes. Lay out and print drawings with perfect scaling.

- Lines, Rectangles, Circles and Arcs and other 2D figures
- Layer creation and management
- Working with Snaps and the three axes
- Copy, Move, Rotate Scale and other basic modification tools
- Fillet and Chamfer
- Offset, Follow Me, and other 3D modification tools
- Zoom and Pan
- Dimensioning and text annotation
- Creating Layouts
- Printing and scaling
Course Delivery Options
ONSITE Learning
Learn in the comfort of your own workplace, both individually and in small groups of colleagues.
Each course is delivered by an experienced, qualified instructor who is on hand to help individual learners as well as guiding the group with hands-on examples and exercises.

Duration: 2 days per level
REMOTE Learning
Learn with the convenience of remote meeting technology such as Teams or Zoom.
With the benefit of two screens each learner will feel involved, and the live training delivers the same quality of training as the in-room experience of trainer/delegate interaction.
The trainer will deliver the training live, with each demonstration on one screen, taking the trainee through the examples step by step on their own screen.
Each course can be personalised to meet the individual needs of the business and the trainees.
